Teleconferencing

Conference Calls

Most university VoIP telephones can be used to make conference calls with up to 6 participants by following these steps:

  1. From a connected call that is not on hold, press the Conference button VoIP Phone - Conference Call Button
  2. Dial a new number.
  3. Press Conference button VoIP Phone - Conference Call Button again (before or after the party answers). The conference begins and the phone displays "Conference".
  4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 to add more participants.

Conference Room Speakerphones

The Neag School of Education does not have VoIP compatible conference room speakerphones available; if you need a speakerphone for a teleconference, please submit a tech support request in advance of your event for assistance.

UConn supports Microsoft Teams as our videoconferencing, meeting, and webinar software, if you would like support in using Microsoft Teams or for hosting a specific event, please submit a tech support request.
